Download the extension

Version 0.9.504, as a small ZIP file. Save it somewhere you can find easily, like your Downloads folder.

Unzip the file

Double-click grocermatch-extension-v0.9.504.zip on Mac, or right-click → Extract All on Windows. You'll get a folder called grocermatch-extension. Keep it somewhere permanent — deleting it will disable the extension.

Open Chrome's extensions page

Copy this address into your browser bar and press Enter:

chrome://extensions

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and Opera. In Edge use edge://extensions.

Turn on Developer mode

Look in the top-right corner of the extensions page — there's a toggle labeled Developer mode. Flip it on. Three new buttons appear at the top: Load unpacked, Pack extension, and Update.

Click Load unpacked and pick the folder

A file picker opens. Select the grocermatch-extension folder you unzipped in step 2. The extension appears in your list with a green dot — that means it's active.

Pin it to your toolbar (optional but recommended)

Click the puzzle piece icon in the top-right of your browser, find GrocerMatch Price Tracker, and click the pin icon next to it. Now the extension is one click away whenever you shop.

Connect your account

Already installed but this page still says "Not detected"?

Some browsers block extensions from running on preview URLs. If the extension icon appears in your toolbar and the popup says Connected, mark it installed here and continue.
